This freeform bowl is coiled of many different fibers - wool, polyester, acrylic, cotton, metallic threads (gold tone,)yarns, linen, etc. some of them are upcycled. This one has lots of fuzziness to it, from the cut fibers.

It was begun on a handmade (by me) stoneware piece (fired to cone 6.) It has been textured with fern and grass motifs (made by pressing them into the clay.) Accented with glass and wood beads.

This is sometimes called a "reach-in" basket, as it is lower on one side than the other. It makes a nice catchall for keys or change, if you don't mind covering up the plant designs in the bottom.

It is approximately 9" x 6" x 3".

Frequently asked questions about BasketsByPamela

Custom orders take about 4 weeks. This gives me time to find the materials, prepare, weave, let it dry properly, and then ship. If you need your basket faster, please send me a message BEFORE you buy. Some items can be hurried, some cannot. There is an extra fee, payable in advance, for "Rush" orders.
Baskets listed as "green" in my shop are made with wild, natural vines and other plants that are gathered sustainably and woven fresh, by me, one at a time. No chemicals or pesticides, either in the growing, or the making!
