Here's a unique item sure to please the monkey art lover--a large, 1951 wall calender featuring a watercolor painting of monkey's doing business by renowned artists/illustrator Lawson Wood. This particular calendar features his painting entitled "Business as Usual" and is a tintogravure print with vibrant colors and a great retro vibe. The calendar measures 33.5" (85 cm) tall and is 16" (40.5 cm) wide with a thing metal band on the top and bottom as well as a hanging loop on the top. There is also a December 1951 paper calender stapled below the illustration. The illustration itself measures 18.5" tall (47 cm) X 15" wide (38 cm). Underneath the calendar is a full year calendar for 1950 as well as description of the illustration. This fun calendar would look great framed or mount and frame just the illustration itself. It will ship to you in a mailing tube for best protection.

This paper calendar is in good vintage condition considering its age but does have a rip at the top the runs about halfway across. The rip has been taped on the back with transparent tape. Besides the rip, this piece is in good shape with some yellowing but the graphics are vibrant and it has a beautiful vintage look to it.
