Shipment is made via the USPS for US domestic orders or through Etsy's Global shipping program within 3 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise noted. Packages are often the same or next day but it is not guaranteed.

If you need your package shipped the same day or next day please send a message BEFORE placing an order and you will be notified if that is possible.

Delivery confirmation and tracking is included on orders within the USA and to international destinations where it is available. All items are insured against loss or damage. Shipping prices include postage, insurance and packaging materials.

All items are shipped in a padded envelope or sturdy cardboard box. Items are packaged with tissue paper, plastic bubble wrap and biodegradable cornstarch packing peanuts. The cornstarch packing peanuts will dissolve in water. If you prefer that cornstarch peanuts aren't used please include a message with your order.

Shipping Delivery Times

USA Shipping:
Packages up to 16 oz are mailed via USPS 1st class mail unless another method of shipping is selected. Standard 1st class shipping time is 2 to 6 business days. Most packages over 16 oz will be shipped via USPS Priority mail which in most cases which takes 1 to 4 days based on location.

Books without advertising shipped alone can be shipped at the lower Media Mail rate. Vintage Magazines and yearbooks have advertising and are not allowed in Media Mail.

Occasionally there are delays within the USPS though so please allow up to 21 days for orders to arrive from the date of shipment within the US. If your order does not arrive in this time frame, you will receive a full refund after completing an insurance form.

International Shipping:
International shipping time may vary. Packages up to 4 lbs are sent via first class mail unless another method is requested. Additional charges may apply for upgraded shipping. International shipping to most destinations usually takes 1 to 2 weeks but may take up to 6 weeks to arrive. Shipments to Italy may take longer.

Packages over 4 lbs must be shipped via USPS priority mail, which usually takes 6 to 10 business days to most locations.

Due to the EU's new policy regarding returns I am no longer able to sell certain large and heavy items that are costly to ship to EU countries. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Please allow up to 45 days for delivery for international orders except for Italy which is 60 days. If your package does not arrive within these time frames please notify SCD Vintage to fill out an insurance claim form.

Taxes, customs and other duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Individual countries may have restrictions on which items can be legally imported.

All packages are insured against loss or damage. Please see the refund section below for information on delayed, lost and damaged packages.

HOLDS: SCD Vintage will hold items for up to 24 hours.

All of the items in this shop are either vintage as defined by Etsy as being at least 20 years old to date to the best of my knowledge or are handmade items usually using vintage components.

I research every item listed for sale and strive to be as accurate as possible when describing the condition, age and history of the piece. Still, there may be an occasional error and I welcome anyone to correct me if they come across misinformation.
