NOTE: I'd love to explain my process. I use really old original vintage photos and my goal is to make whimsical creatures look as real as possible. If the original photo is weathered, textured, discolored, even a bit blurry, I keep those interesting features because it adds uniqueness to the finished work : )

In the attic of an abandoned victorian mortuary, an aged and mysterious photograph rests in a dusty locked plain box. It waits for a curious soul to free it from it's prison. This is "The Dark Longing"

Multiple images are artistically fused together seamlessly to create a new life form! All my work is created in my little rural home studio in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
