I had just a little of this flannel left, and when I started cutting out the nursing pads they didn't come out in even pairs. But hey, if you're like me then you don't change both pads at the same time anyway, so a spare is handy!
This listing is for FIVE (not 4!) fleece-backed nursing pads with adorable jungle animals on them!

As a breastfeeding mother, I consider washable nursing pads a must. They are more comfortable than disposable pads, and most mothers find them convenient as well. And of course they're eco-friendly!
As a large-busted mother, I make these pads a generous 4.5in (11cm) across. The size helps ensure that they will do their duty even if things shift around in the bra.

The pads come in a variety of pale colored fabrics, intended to not show though clothing. Each pad is serged around the edges. I make two types of pads; one type has fleece backing and the other has PUL.

**Fleece-backed nursing pads have two layers of flannel and are good for day use or mild-moderate letdown. The fleece is a leak-resistant barrier, allowing the airflow of plain flannel but with better leak protection. Fleece is soft enough to mold to your shape and be discreet.

**PUL-backed nursing pads are best for those with a heavy letdown, or who want additional protection for nighttime use. These pads have three layers of flannel, and the layer of 1ml PUL is completely leakproof, while still being soft and relatively moldable to your shape. (I had problems with 2ml PUL being too stiff and showing through my shirt.) The only way to leak with these pads is if you completely saturate the flannel, and the moisture is able to leak around the side. For the first six months of breastfeeding, these were the only pads that could stand up to my letdown. :)

All my nursing pads can be machine washed on any temperature, and are machine dryable. I recommend putting them in a lingerie bag so that you don't lose any in the wash. Do not use fabric softener.

I sell pads in sets of 2 pairs of the same kind (4 pads total). If you would prefer a mixed set or a larger set, please convo me and I would be happy to put one together for you.
