Description

Chances are you know someone lacking a green thumb. I wrote "please don't die" on the outside of this ceramic planter to give your plants an extra boost. Every little bit helps.

I've noticed hardware stores have a nice selection of small (2.5" pot) succulents lately for just a couple dollars. This planter is the perfect size to re-pot these little guys to get them out of those ugly plastic containers. It's small enough to fit on most windowsills.

This is a small planter. Please note the measurements:
Planter: 2 5/8" - 3" tall x 3" - 3 1/2" wide at top
Saucer: 2 3/8" - 2 3/4"

I have several of these planters in this batch. I make these one at a time on a pottery wheel, so each one is a little different. There will be slight variations in size and shape between each planter since each one is truly handmade (no molds!). I consider this to be a good thing. This listing is for one planter. You will receive just ONE of the planters you see in the last photo. If you'd like more than one, please update your quantity when checking out.

The trouble with succulents is they need very little water, but they sit around looking thirsty all the time. Should you (or your friend who lacks a green thumb), manage to kill your plant anyway, here are a few suggestions:

1. Blame the cat. They're always knocking stuff over (note: this one works best if you actually HAVE a cat).

2. Just say "it's in its dormant phase right now". This makes you sound knowledgeable. Everyone will think you're a great gardener AND very intelligent.

3. Go buy a new one! These little plants are only a couple dollars after all. If you can't find one of the same species you had before, just say "it always looked like that".

This wheel thrown planter has a hole in the bottom for drainage, and comes with a saucer to catch extra drips.

This piece was handmade on a pottery wheel and fired to cone 5 for durability. All glazes used are lead-free. The inside of the planter is un-glazed so that you can see the creamy color of the clay, and the outside is glazed white.

Please keep in mind that pottery is handmade and will have natural variations that make it unique.
