Our white Wensleywolds (WensleydalexCotswold cross) - Max, Gwendolynn and her daughter Gwennyth, give us beautiful white fleeces twice a year. If they are not sent off to be processed, they display curly locks, sometimes called the poor man's mohair, but I think it should be the other way around. When this wool comes back as pencil roving from Moro Fiber Works, in Moro Bay, California, it is stunningly silky, and makes it very tough to decide between spinning as is or dyeing it. This fiber takes up dye beautifully, almost like silk.

These bumps are 4 ounces, but can be ordered in larger quantities. Just convo me with any questions you might have.
