This piece was created for the February EBWC challenge; the theme was "Tropical Holiday." It is made from seed beads and most of the shells I found by the Sea of Cortez near the Bay of La Paz. A tropical paradise near and dear to my heart. I used the mesh netting method and added tiny seashells as a fringe; most of them with natural holes and it feels like clear blue skies, turquoise waters, and warm sunshine. The inside length of the necklace is 19 & 3\/4 inch (50.16cm) and is strengthened with a length of silver wire and a sterling silver nautical S clasp.
