Yadkin is an elongated semi-circular shawl, and is worked from neck edge to bottom, then the edging is added along the outer arch. The final trim is worked along the sides of the edging and across the beginning chain.
Comprised of simple stitches, this shawl is a suitable project for crocheters of advanced beginner to experienced abilities.
MATERIALS
Yarn: Fingering Weight Yarn, 630 yards / 575 meters
Model crocheted in Wollmeise Pure; any fingering weight yarn can be substituted.
To make shawl from 2 colors, the body of the shawl requires approximately 440 yards (400 meters) and the edging requires 190 yards (175 meters).
Note: Yarn amounts are only guaranteed when working pattern to the specified gauge.
Crochet hook: Size E/4 (3.5 mm) or size needed for gauge
