See below for a review of this pattern:
'I made the Ladies' sport dress to wear all the time, and also wore it to the Gatsby in Oakland one year. I altered it a bit - instead of buttons in the back, I did a zipper (I know it's not period correct!), and I shortened the skirt a little bit. I made the dress from a brown pinstripe linen blend, and it was very easy to put together, very straightforward, and looked really great on. I want to make it again, now that I'm more familiar with the pattern, with the little jacket as well. I definitely recommend the pattern for beginners and up. All the pieces were easy to assemble, and the instructions were very clear.'

Another great vintage design! I find many are prettier than today's designs, much more interest! Thank you!

Just gorgeous! I cut this paper pattern last night and was thrilled with the quality of the paper--not too heavy, not too light (picky detail, I know, but I like good paper for patterns). It is clear and easy-to-read. Also, the seller could not be sweeter!! This is my new favorite pattern source. :)

Pattern shipped out so fast! The paper for the pattern is perfect--I've ordered from other reproduction pattern companies that use a heavier paper. I’m a pattern tracer, but I definitely prefer to avoid it when I can. VPLL uses a paper that can be pinned like tissue but is more substantial. The pattern itself is wonderful. Not too many pieces and construction itself is fast, though there are a few details that benefit from making a muslin for practice and fit. Don’t skip the muslin! I reached out to Deirdre regarding the fit issue I was having, and she was so helpful and encouraging! I could write paragraphs on how pleased I am--unfortunately there’s a character limit! I HIGHLY recommend ordering from Deirdre and VPLL!! I will be coming here in the future for all my reproduction pattern needs! Likely very soon :)
