Description

Enamelware BLUE or BLACK Trim, Large Tray, Small Tray, Ladle, Pan w Lid, Bedpan, Portable Urinal, Refrigerator Container, Farmhouse, Country

French Country? Farmhouse style? Cottage chic? Whatever term you prefer, they are darn cute, interesting, and functional.

I believe most of these are from the 1940's or even earlier.
They have a good weight to them.

These pans are perfect for storing/displaying things in your kitchen or around the house.

Overall these pieces are in lovely, clean, vintage condition.
I did not re-paint these... did NOT touch them up...
My photos are not re-touched either.
Some of the pieces have a few chips, but that just adds to their CHARM.

ETSY can be tricky to navigate.
In the upper right of the listing, there is an outlined box.
Above the "add to cart", you click on the horizontal box that states "select an option".

Each item is sold separately but if you desire to purchase several pieces, we should be able to work out a better price. "Let's make a deal". The more you purchase, the better the deals.

*******In general, enamelware can be dated by the heft of the piece. For example, an enamelware coffee pot from the beginning of the 20th century is noticeably heavier than one made after World War II. Sound can also be a clue. If you tap the bottom of a brightly colored enamelware mug with your fingernail and it sounds tinny, it was probably made in the 1970s.
Vintage enamelware, also called enameled ware, became popular in the 19th century, when manufacturers of kitchenstaples such as pots and pans coated everything from heavy cast iron to lighter steel with enamel. When fired, the enamel glazed, creating a non-porous surface that was easier to clean than exposed metal. White was a standard color on enamelware since that gave plates, mugs, ladles, and coffee pots a bright, sanitary appearance. The rims of lightweight steel enamelware were often trimmed in a solid band of red or blue, while enameled cast iron, designed for the stovetop and oven, was usually white on the inside but colored on the exterior, most classically in orange.********

I hope that you will come back often to browse the interesting items in BOTH of my ETSY shops.
