Description

A melancholy person overwhelmed by the onset of Winter, raking fallen leaves in a somber mood. Shades of gray and dry-leaf brown. Inspired by Optiganally Yours' wonderful song, Rake. (Mentioned by permission of Rob Crow.)

Signed archival giclée print reproduction of an original acrylic painting on canvas with collaged text (from an antique Russian algebra textbook), original size 6" x 6".

The print is 450 dpi on heavy archival Hahnemuhle paper, using Epson UltraChrome inks for longevity & accurate color.
The untrimmed paper size is 8.5"x11" (215.9mm x 279.4mm), with the live image available original size 6"x6" (152.4mm x 152.4mm) or enlarged to 8"x8" (203.2mm x 203.2mm). If you would like an even larger version, please contact me for a custom listing.

I will sign & date it in pencil, pack it carefully between cardboard for safe transit, & mail it First Class USPS. Please request insurance if desired. It may take a couple of days to pack & mail but should reach you in about a week.

Leah’s fantasy artwork is visually stunning, playful, clever, and often a bit macabre. I love her collaboration with A.Word.A.Day. I have purchased several in the past and added to my collection for Christmas 2014. As well as gifting myself, I bought four as gifts to my sister and nieces. They love them! These prints are affordable. They arrive at warp speed. And Leah takes care with the presentation packaging using ribbons and beautiful calligraphy. No gift wrap is necessary.

My print arrived today and I am swooning over the shipping label! And the packaging! And the gorgeous little flourishes it arrived with. And then the print is just spectacular, I nearly cried! I've been loving these illuminated letters on the A Word A Day website/emailing for so long, I finally had to have one of my own. I just love it! The art is stunning and I love all of the details and as a word lover, I love the word design and archaic-looking dictionary definition of the word. I'm just so happy and so in love!

Love the print! Perfect characterization of my flame point siamese, Nico. 😻 I didn’t realize it came printed on an 8.5x11 sheet, but I will trim it down since I already purchased a 6x6 frame. Beautiful packaging & your calligraphy is gorgeous! Thank you!
