Description

3 Greek key scarf and cowl crochet pattern "Hellas" collection for over 40% savings!

Part of my heritage is Greek, and I wanted to design special pieces inspired by Greek culture that non-Greeks would love as well. These are lovely scarves with 2-sided designs - Greek key on one side and stripes on the other.

The Hellas Scarf (cream and grey) is an extra-long scarf created to wrap around the neck twice, but you can easily modify the pattern to make it shorter. The Hellas Cowl (lavender and charcoal) is based off of the Hellas Scarf, but quicker and easier, and worked in the round instead of flat. The Andras Scarf (grey and black) has a more masculine vibe with the same Greek key inspiration.

The stitches are fairly basic but based on mosaic crochet. One side shows the Greek key design, and the other is striped with some texture. The larger items are a bit slower to work as the primary stitch is single crochet.

A video is provided to explain the only special stitch. A graphic of the motif is also provided in addition to the written instructions.

YARN PICTURED: The Hellas Scarf used a light worsted weight - possibly closer to DK weight. The Hellas Cowl used a heavy worsted weight - possibly closer to an aran weight. The Andras Scarf used worsted weight. The fringe is optional, and instructions are included for the fringe.

Please contact me directly at any time for help with the pattern!

Very straight forward pattern, with explanations about using different yarn, explanations of tricky parts in written and photographic form. Really pretty wash set, great as presents for teachers, family, friends and for myself too! thank you, very happy
