This sewing pattern will help you create an adorable stuffed animal bat friend of your very own. These plush bats feature large ears and cute little faces. Unlike many other bat sewing patterns patterns, these bats are designed to sit up on their own rather than relying on string to hang them.

This pattern is a digital download and is in .PDF format.

Find more fun patterns here: https://bit.ly/2JI7jaz

Your .PDF download will include the bat pattern itself, printing instructions, suggested cutting layouts, 2 pages of sewing tips, and a step by step written tutorial along with accompanying full color photographs to help you complete your project.

The pattern includes both a 1/4 inch seam allowance and the exact sewing lines.

There is also a free video tutorial here: https://youtu.be/WasrzwZwofg

You do not need to purchase the pattern to view the video tutorial so if you are worried this project may not be suitable for you, you can watch the tutorial for an idea of what will be involved.

Your finished bat will be approximately 6 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide, and have a 12 inch wing span.

Tools and Materials You Will Need:
• Main Fabric - Minky ( 12.5 x 10 in )
• Accent Fabric - Cotton or Minky ( 8.5 x 8 in )
• 1 Pair 9mm Safety Eyes
• Poly-Pellets ( 1/8 Cup )

+ All other sewing supplies you may need for a regular sewing project including scissors, straight pins, sewing needles, and (optionally) a sewing machine.

Skill Level:
Intermediate-Advanced (7/10)
This bat is a moderately difficult sewing project. You should have a comfortable knowledge of plush sewing. Techniques used include stitching in the ditch, sewing opposing curves, top stitching, sewing tiny pieces, and hand sewing.

Important Info:

For the personalization, you can simply add "I understand" or a similar statement, the exact wording isn't important. The personalization option is set up just to help reduce confusion as many people purchase and expect a paper pattern or finished product to be mailed. This way they are given an extra warning.

There are no refunds on this item.

Absolutely love this pattern! Skill level was listed as intermediate-advanced 7/10 but I had never sewn a plush before and didn't see that until after but it still came out great for a beginner!! So thankful for people like this that share their skill and knowledge. Her instructions and video were very informative and detailed. 10/10 would recommend and will be purchasing more patterns soon! 🖤

Used the bat head for my Jack Skellington bow tie. The pattern was super easy to follow and the pictures really helped me out with placement for the ears. I'm going to use this pattern later to make some happy bat friends

So cute and easy to follow. This is my first hand stitched animal since 8th grade home ec. Its a little wonky but that is user error since my fabric wasn't the best and I was hand stitching
