Very primitive bowl indeed. Crazing, cracking and chipping oh my! Not really chips, more like beauty marks from the maker. I would say turn of the century, if you are a collector you may know more than I. Still gorgeous after all these years.
I love these old bowls.Full of decades of character. How many different delectable treats were mixed in this baby. They can be quite collectible. I can't remember the info I discovered on this particular piece. There is no maker on it, but the stripes can be distinguishing along with the color of the bowl itself. Could be a rare piece?
It is about 10" in diameter.
*NOTE: The glaze is deteriorating on the inside and should probably not be used for mixing food. From what I remember about these lovelies, the glaze has LEAD in it. (maybe)
