Gauge: 12 sts x 15 rows = 2” x 2” in Stocking sts with US#6 (4 mm)
(You can also use any yarn or a needle size that gives you the right gauge.)

Needles I used: US#4 (3.5 mm) & US#6 (4.0 mm) double pointed Needles, yarn needle, a crochet hook

Yarn: Category 3 light worsted weight OR DK weight
White approx. (72, 100, 110) yds, Blue approx. (12, 14, 15) yds for hat, White approx. (21, 39, 39) yds, Blue approx. (3, 6, 6) yds for hair

Stitches I used:
K = Knit
P = Purl
YO = Yarn Over
Pfb = Purl in the front and back of the same stitch
K2tog = Knit two together, P2tog = Purl two together
SSK = Slip Slip Knit

Have knitted this for my two grandaughters who absolutely love it. The pattern is great but because I prefer to knit on two needles it took some adjustments. These worked out well. The sizing is generous so measurement of heads is essential!
