Ornamental Cage Wrap Pendant Tutorial. This tutorial will teach you how wire weave 3 different weaves based on two base wires. You will wire wrap a stone or crystal point into a beautiful caged pendant. You will create the bail and learn wire forming and binding.

The tutorial is 21 pages long, in 59 fully illustrated easy to follow steps. This tutorial is recommended for the intermediate - advanced wire wrapper. You should have a basic understanding of weaving and hand forming basic shapes. This file is 789KB.

Materials:
One Double Ended Stone Point, Approx. 25-30mm (1-1 1/4 inches) long and 8mm (5/8 inches) wide.
Alternately you can use a quartz crystal point or really any other cylindrical shape around this size. If you are going larger, add ample wire.
Two 28cm (11 inch) long pieces of 20g Dead Soft Round Wire for the frame.
3.5 Meters (11 feet) of 28g Dead Soft Round Wire for weaving.

Tools:
Ruler, Wire Clippers, Chain Nose Pliers, Round Nose Pliers, Kumihimo Bobbin.
