Description

This is my second book and a sequel to Bead Romantique. By ordering the book, you will receive a bonus - a 10% coupon for your next shop order with an autographed book. Supplies used for the projects can be found on our online shop here, from listed resources in the book and on TextileGeisha.com. Shipping for the book is media rate.

If you place a bead order with the book, your beads will be in the same package and shipped together with the book.

About the book:

A spectrum of 16 projects form "collections" organized by technique or beaded component. Each design collection introduces a particular technique in an easy project, and then builds upon the concept by adding more beadwork or making small changes in bead count and placement. More advanced projects in each collection then combine additional bead stitches and techniques. Each collection of projects shows how modifications can transform a design from simple to more complex.

Author Lisa Kan is known for her elegant and feminine bead-woven jewelry that often features flowers, leaves, historical inspirations and romantic flourishes. Now she applies her trademark style to a jewelry collection based upon beaded elements that evolve and morph into more complex designs.

While the author uses a range of typical bead weaving stitches in these projects, she also incorporates simple stringing and wirework techniques (such as using chain) that are not typically seen in bead-woven jewelry. All projects feature detailed step-by-step instructions and ample high-quality illustrations and diagrams.

About the Author
Lisa Kan is an author, beadweaver, jewelry designer and glass artist. Her focus is on creating elegant, wearable, multi-purpose, reversible and modular component beadwork designs. Lisa is also the author of Bead Romantique (Interweave) and is a 2009 Beadwork magazine Designer of the Year. Her designs have been published in numerous bead magazines.

Due to monitor settings and preferences, colors may appear slightly different on screen than in person. As each computer monitor is calibrated differently, there may be slight but not drastic color variances between the item and the image you see on the screen. If you require a color consultation to match beads between several listings for a special project or you need more quantity than what is listed, please feel free to convo me. Color is my specialty.

Orders are generally shipped within two business days. Most items are shipped USPS First Class Mail in a bubble envelop, unless otherwise noted in the respective listing description, for a flat rate of $4.00 NO MATTER how many items you purchase for US customers (inclusive of US territories). For Canadian customers, your shipping is a flat rate of $10.00 International First Class Mail NO MATTER how many items you purchase. For all other international customers, your shipping is a flat rate of $14.00 International First Class Package Mail NO MATTER how many items you purchase. There are only a few items we carry in the shop that do not fall into these shipping rate categories. Please read all product and shipping descriptions for each respective listing.

If you place an order before noon (PST), more than likely, your order will be processed immediately if I am not traveling or exhibiting at a show. Your order may even ship the same day! All items ship with free delivery confirmation. An automated delivery confirmation email will be sent at the time of shipment.

Insurance is optional and not included. The seller bears no responsibility for USPS postal damage, shipping delays or lost if insurance is not purchased. If you want to purchase insurance please let me know. Arrangements can also be made to upgrade shipping if you wish to receive your items quicker.

Please note for International customers, International First Class Package Mail can take from 1 week to 8 weeks dependent on your region. I declare items shipped internationally as "craft supplies". The buyer is responsible for any international custom fees incurred by your regional local post office. For International Customers who desire for shipping upgrades, please convo me for a quote.

Additional policies

Washington residents are subject to a sales tax which is calculated by Etsy dependent on your location.

If you require additional items of the same product, they may be in stock or special ordered for you. I have many resources through my many years of design work so can maybe even locate hard to find items for you.

At times, I may be traveling to or exhibiting at a trade show and in those instances, the shop may be closed. If the shop remains open, select items or categories may be temporarily unavailable. If you remember seeing something you wanted to purchase but for some reason can no longer locate in the shop, please convo me. I do take select items to trade shows and the inventory may be slightly off. If an item is sold out in your order, I will promptly contact you and issue a refund.

All finished jewelry samples shown in shop listings are copyrighted or have appeared in a trade publication from 2006 to 2018. Designs from magazines, from books and PDF tutorials are copyrighted by the original publisher and myself. No design is to be copied, taught as your own design or the likeness replicated, EVEN IF, the design appeared in a trade publication WITHOUT written consent from me. Designs in trade publications are for individual use only and not for resale, not to be re-taught at a beadstore or for digital distribution. Any questions on copyrights, feel free to email me at "LisaKanDesigns@yahoo.com."
