This vintage homeware delight is a coffee set from J & G Meakin, created in its familiar Studio shape and decorated with the elegant and pretty, green and blue Topic pattern that was designed by Alan Rogers in 1967. The set features a coffee pot, six cups and saucers, a milk/cream jug and sugar bowl. The set is in good condition for its age, though there is some crazing on the coffee pot.
We were especially pleased to find this set with its original packaging - with Meakin's playful bull design (and a card which indicated this set had originally been obtained via cigarette vouchers!).

Size: Coffee pot: 24cm/9.5inches high. Cup: 8cm/3 inches high. Jug: 7cm/2.75 inches high.Sugar bowl 6cm/2.5 inches high. Saucer diameter 14.5 cm/5.75 inches .Weight (unboxed) approx 2500g.
