Our first CD from back in 2002; simply a classic. At first it was an answer to that often asked question at art fairs when we would play the pieces on the table for sale: Can we just take YOU home with us? And the answer is, yes you can! This CD is all instrumental, all traditional tunes of Celtic origin, many of them from the reedy world of bagpipes, all played by us on these instruments we make. Pictured are the pieces on the album: Two of the biggest full scale ocarinas I ever made, my constant companion on the right, the A; and the giant G standing on the left. The pocket pipes in the middle are so highly polished because they are played so much, the A-pipes to match my big bass A. Usually David plays those small pipes. The moon necklace and the small G's pipe up in high pitch here or there. The album plays 57 minutes with 16 tracks and 19 traditional tunes all arranged to fit on an ocarina.
Most of the tunes are dreamy and peaceful, but with a steady winding rhythm. Word is, it can be soothing for babies that need to be sleeping; or other meditative exercises.

Good musicianship on an instrument that is difficult to make sound well, and not like a child’s toy. Good for yoga, therapy office lounge, meditation and schools for study time.

This CD is playing as I write. Excellent musicianship which encourages me in my own pursuit of playing the ocarina.
