Description

This butterfly ceramic trivet is from a pastel painting by JoAnne Tucker. Each one is individually made by JoAnne by the process of heat pressing the image onto the tile so that the dye permanently bonds with the new surface.

The image on this trivet is from a pastel painting by JoAnne Tucker of a butterfly. JoAnne was particularly intrigued by the shadow the butterfly was casting.

Size: 6" by 8"
Edge: 1/4 inch

The back has four pads so it won't harm any surface. It may be used for decoration on an easel, placed as a centerpiece on a table and used as a trivet. Comes with the easel pictured above. It is heat and water resistant and the image will not fade or wash off. Not recommended for the Dishwasher

JoAnne and Murray are pleased to share their images as functional art - decorative and useful.

Each trivet is signed.

Please note that monitors are not always calibrated the same so colors may vary slightly from the image on the screen. The first picture shows the image in natural light and the second and third photo's were taken at night with the picture on the wall or on a bookshelf with artificial light.

The Artist retains all rights. Rights to reproduce do not transfer with the sale of the artwork.
