Description

Stunning! This shawl is all the colors of an October Autumn in the New England states of the US. Deep green, rust, burnt orange, acorn brown, grays, blacks, creamy whites are melded into the colors of this shawl. Different textures of yarn...some are wavy, some thin, some thicker, some soft, some core spun, some hand spun. The alpaca yarns of natural-colored grays, blacks, whites are harvested from our alpaca herd, processed into roving, hand spun by me into soft, lovely yarn that were then used to weave on my triloom. Other yarns of wool and acrylic blends that were locally purchased were also used in this shawl. The shawl is lightweight but very cozy. The shawl consists of 65% alpaca yarn. The purchased yarns are used to add color, depth and texture.

The shawl has been beautifully finished with a crocheted edging.

The shawl is woven on a seven-foot tri-loom with 5-6 inch fringe. The shawl is made to be worn as a wrap for an average-sized, average-height or more (5' tall) woman.

Wipe with a damp warm-water cloth if soiled. Do not place in clothes washer or dryer to avoid felting and shrinkage.

If you wish to have the shipping package insured, please indicate so, and include $5.00 more for shipping, otherwise the package will not be insured.

Produced in a non-smoking home.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Item(s) will be shipped after payment is received and approved.

Returns & exchanges

No refunds. No exchanges. All sales are final.
If you encounter a problem, contact me.
Note: Please be advised that the paper items, such as wreaths and kissing/wedding balls are very delicate and fragile. And even though, we take all the precautions deemed necessary to ensure that the paper items will make it to your home or office with no damage, there is always that chance that it may arrive with some damage. If this happens, and you decide that you cannot accept the paper item in this condition, then please return it to us in the original box at your cost for shipping, and we will refund the item cost (not the shipping costs). Oftentimes, a torn or crushed paper cone or flower can be easily fixed by slightly moistening your index finger and thumb with a bit of water, and smoothing out the crease. This act can even make the paper item look much more vintage and interesting.

I ship only to the 48 Continental United States of America. If you live elsewhere, contact me to see if we can ship to you and the price of doing so.
Insurance can be added on package(s) for those interested as well. I am not responsible for packages that you do not insure once they are shipped.

Additional policies

All items are lovingly handmade by me. Item(s) are made from materials from our own farm unless specified in the item(s) description. All effort is made to describe and photograph the item(s) being sold with the utmost care and honesty.

I love to do custom orders. If you have a particular idea in mind for a wreath, shawl or scarf, please contact me.
