7 Hippos Marching is an original watercolor which is painted on 300 pound Arches paper. It is double-matted and framed in black metal. It is $300 plus the actual cost of shipping.

The painting is 24 inches wide by 3 inches high. It is framed.

Meet the Hippos. They are cousins, and they are part of a family of small hippos that thrives in museums and in charming interior spaces. They are most often found on shelves, and they particularly like the ones with mirrored backing and lights. From left to right, they are Big Yellow Hippo, Lotsa Dots Hippo, Hippo Green, Tiny Stained Glass Hippo, Half Moon Hippo, Brick Hippo, and Hippo Star.

Their march is sponsored by the Small Friends Research Institute which was established to identify heretofore unknown species and to tell their stories. They sometimes agree to march in weddings and birthday celebrations, but they are very fussy about their dressing rooms.
