This tutorial will teach you how to make a pair of simple earrings using the hand coiling method to make the filigree links. You will be taught how to construct the round frame, make the coils, attaching the filigree links & beads as well as making a pair of ear wires.

Do not be intimidated by the look of the filigree links, it's actually very easy to do this earrings. The second photo on the side shows another type of earrings done with this technique. Once you have mastered this technique, you can create pendants & bracelets as well.

Materials & Tools needed:

18g, 22g & 28g wire
12 pcs of 3mm/4mm beads of your choice
Wire cutter/Chain nose plier/flat nose plier
Nylon jaw plier
Jump ring mandrel
A mandrel with 2.5cm in diameter
Ruler/marker
Wire filer
Metal block/hammer (optional)
