Male snowy owls when younger start off barred with dark brown and get whiter as they get older. Some older males can be almost pure white!!

My snowy owl is one of the middle aged males and is needle felted, a time consuming process in which wool roving is poked repeatedly with a barbed needle until the desired shape is formed. Great care has been taken to accurately depict his color and markings. He stands on sturdy wire feet which has been felted, has glass black eyes and is approximately 12 inches in length, which is about half the size of a real Snowy Owl, which can vary in length from 20 inches to almost 28 inches. This owl is custom made once you place your order and payment is received. This owl takes many days to make and I usually ship with 2-4 weeks, but it depends on how many orders I have. Allow more time especially during busy holidays or with multiple orders. Please let me know if you need him by a certain date. During the Christmas rush I am overloaded with orders by early October, so please order early!!
