Inspiration comes from so many sources. I am often amazed at the notes I receive from people. And, I love them all. Notes like, "I like this garden sculpture but need something larger. Or, "Do you think you could make something for my home based on the style and look of this piece?"

That's exactly how 'Orchid Embrace' was born. It started as a single garden sculpture, 'Fanciful Flowers' of my own design. Then, it grew into a two-piece arrangement, 'Fanciful Garden Flowers' with the collaboration of a client. Now it has blossomed into a 30" round orchid at the request and with ideas of another client.

It has been a grand experience to work with people from around the world to develop designs for their home and garden decors based on my stained glass panels and yard art.

I designed 'Orchid Embrace' incorporating three pictures from the portfolio of an exceptional professional photographer into one large panel. Faceted clear jewels become stars in the dusk sky and iridescent yellow and orange glass nugget 'wildflowers' pop up in the rolling meadow. Off in the distance, a river begins its journey down the snow-capped mountain range on its way to the sea.
