This listing is for a One Door shelter, but a second door can also be added if you feel they need an escape route. Visit our shop to see escape shelters!
Ours at home prefer one door and have never had any issues with other wild animals.
Door ways come 5x7" - If you need a specific size, let me know! And we can do 6" round holes if you would like too. Just leave a note to your order if you need a specific door size or shape.

The lid on top sits on weatherstripping for a tight seal and is hinged with a latch. Any holes or gaps are filled and the entire house is sealed with weatherproof lacquer. Glued and fastened together for a strong hold.

Insulation is also an option!
We use Reflectix sheeting insulation, it radiates your cats body heat, like an emergency foil blanket. A 1/2" foam board is also placed underneath.

The floor of the shelter is raised 3/4" up off the ground, but we do also have 4" Stands for the shelter to sit on to prevent sitting in any standing water.

This 3' shelter could house anywhere from 2 - 6+ cats it really depends on their size and amount of fluff - (fat) they have to them:) So please take measurements into consideration.

I cannot believe how beautiful and how well-constructed this shelter is. I wish I could put it in my living room! I've ordered a gazillion things over the internet over the years, and this is BY FAR my favorite item! And don't worry about it getting damaged during shipment. This turned out great! It took a long time to ship, but it was definitely worth the wait. Quality is amazing and it feels extremely sturdy. My cats absolutely love it. The only complaint is whatever is used to help create a seal with the lid, is peeling and sticking to the lid in some spots. It makes it really difficult to open when I need to access the inside of it. I use this for indoor purposes.

I had a little lost cat show up at my house. I already have 4 rescue dogs and 1 rescued cat inside. I really couldn’t bring any more into the house. But I wanted him to be safe and comfortable. I ordered one of the insulated cat houses on a stand to place under my covered porch. I could not be more pleased with how the house looks or with it’s quality! Thank you so much! This shelter is absolutely beautiful. I have sent photos to a few family members and they are just blown away by it beauty! Craftsman ship is impeccable!
