This is a print of an original watercolor and gouache painting of a profusion of Soapwort and three Red Efts.

This image is part of my weeds series. A while back I was working on some illustrations for the Neversink Stream Management Program and it was suggested that I include some soapwort. What could that be, I wondered? It turned out to be a pretty plant that I've known all my life. It must be one of those things that grows everywhere. But here, where there are plenty of creeks and streams, it's a good plant for managing erosion. So, useful and attractive, I had to paint it's picture.

The image will be centered on archival paper with a white border around the art, printed with pigment based inks. To keep your print in great condition it is important to frame with archival materials (mattes, backing board etc), keep out of direct sunlight, and frame with a UV glass.

Each print is signed on the front and titled on the reverse.

Carefully shipped USPS First Class in a clear cello sleeve with a backing board in a rigid mailer.
