Curly Figured Maple Wooden Bowl (BW336)

Only 1 available

Item details

New England grows some of the world's finest Sugar Maple. In fact, the national champion Sugar Maple is rooted right here in an old western Massachusetts forest where native Americans once roamed the mountains.

This small bowl boasts curly stripe figure (also known as tiger stripe, or fiddleback), long valued for musical instruments and fine furniture. It gives the bowl "chatoyance", the appearance of 3-d grain as the angle of light changes.

Diameter is 6-1/2 inches, height is 1-1/2 inches. Finished in a semi-gloss varnish, polished with finishing waxes.

Item # BW336.
