This is a handsome midcentury coffee pot, manufactured by Biltons in Staffordshire - one of the great brand names of the Potteries that finally disappeared as late as 1999. The company was founded before the First World War and originally made tiles as well as housewares.

This pot features a stylish green/orange floral pattern that's highly evocative of 1960s dinner parties.

It measures approx 21cm across x 10 cm x 18 cm high; it weighs 735 g. It's in good condition for its age - with some crazing and a mark on one side (see photos).
