These sweet and simple little ear climbers are hammered to give them that extra handcrafted touch. Petite and understated, these earrings sweep up the ear in a graceful curve. Their minimalist design matches any style, and they can easily be dressed up or dressed down. THE DETAILS:
● Sold by the pair or single side.
● Crafted from sterling silver.
● Nickel-free.
● The front side of the climber has a subtle hammered finish.
● The total length is about 2/3 inch (17mm), and the middle bend is just under ¼” (5mm) across.
● Soft earring backs are included, which you may choose to use or not—if you have thinner earlobes, piercings that are a little stretched out or just want the extra security, the earring backs should help.

CARE:
● As with any jewelry, I recommend removing your earrings before sleeping, bathing or swimming.
● Clean with a soft polishing cloth.

PACKAGING:
● Earrings come carefully packaged in a classic white cotton-filled box with a colorful ribbon tied around it, ready to gift – or keep for yourself! Also included is a "How To Wear Ear Climbers" instruction card.

HOW TO WEAR EAR CLIMBERS:
● Simply insert ear climber as you would normal a normal earring hook. Then swing it up so it is sitting against the earlobe. If necessary, adjust by squeezing the climber gently so that it hugs your ear.
● If you have already pinched the climber to your ear but still want a tighter fit, swing it back down to the hanging position, and gently pinch the two sides towards one another. Then swing it back up onto your earlobe.

Yes! I have many customers send my jewelry as a gift to a special someone. Here's how to do it: At checkout, check the "This order is a gift" box. Below that box, you have a couple more options. You can add a gift message (that's free!) and you can upgrade to a super spiffy gift-wrapped option for a small extra fee. If you don't want the extra gift wrap, the jewelry will still come packaged in a cute, simple white box tied with a pretty ribbon.

Continue your checkout, and make sure you have the ship-to address set for the gift-recipient. And then your gifting is complete! You will get a tracking number when the order ships, so you can keep an eye on the package as it makes its way to the lucky recipient!

Many of my earrings are made with gold-filled or rose gold-filled metal. Gold-filled is made by heat- and pressure-bonding a thin layer of karat gold to a brass (or other base metal) core. Karat gold covers the brass surface, making it tarnish-resistant. The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. Gold-filled should last decades (or longer!) as opposed to gold-plated, which has such a thin layer of gold that it starts to rub off after a short time.

Rose gold-filled has a bit more copper blended in to create a warm rosy hue.

I really love using gold-filled, because you can have beautiful, quality gold jewelry that isn't cost-prohibitive.

Most styles are sold as a pair, except metalwork ear climbers, which are sold individually (since many times people like to use those in a second piercing, or mix and match.) Some solid gold items are also sold individually. The item descriptions will mention if earrings are sold as a pair or individually, but if you want to double check, don't hesitate to ask!

I misplaced my right one and blamed my unruly hair. I immediately searched and couldn’t find it so I was able to purchase just the one I needed to complete my set again. (How marvelous of the seller to do that!) I was excited when my package arrived quite quickly and promptly put in my new earring. All was right with the world. Not three hours later I looked down and the missing earring was there. Apparently I failed to look with my good eyes like my mother always said but now I have a spare! I absolutely love these ear climbers and refuse to wear anything else. Wonderful quality, fit, and speedy shipping!
