Apricot corriedale fine wool roving from New Zealand. Perfect for needle felting and spinning. Corriedale is also reasonable for wet felting but is not as fast to felt as Merino.

100% New Zealand Wool
Net weight: 1 oz.
Fiber Diameter = 27-30 Micron
Staple Length = approx. 4 1/2 in. (11 cm.)

Corriedale wool has a defined, even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. You can spin a fine to medium woollen, worsted or semi-worsted yarn. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity. It is ideal for baby wear, woven, knitted or crocheted garments. Ashford Corriedale sliver is a 100% New Zealand product with wool from pasture-fed sheep. We know many of the farmers – some of whom have farmed the land for generations. They take great pride in the quality of their wool and the high standard of animal husbandry. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed.

Additional policies

We want you to teach you something and make you smile. Needle felting involves a sharp, barbed needle and if you ask anyone that has ever needle felted, they will confess to poking themselves. It is going to happen. The process of jabbing a sharp needle into wool begs for the opportunity to prick your finger. Please be careful and use common sense.

Our kits are intended for everyone ages 8+. They have been tested and are certified for compliance with CPSC legislation.
