Description

This is a very unusual vintage Navajo bracelet. It is made in 5 hinged sections with a clasp, rather than being a cuff and is very heavy and gorgeous in design.

The central section is one, large black onyx cabochon, and the side sections are decorated each with a single piece of turquoise and coral that are bezel set. The sections flanking the black onyx also have applied sections of silver to make a flower and other designs. Along with the secure box and tongue clasp, it also has a safety chain with a lobster claw.

Likely made in the 1980s, it is signed 'FIJ, (copyright), Sterling'. A very substantial bracelet that will stand out to anyone who loves Native American jewelry and wants something unique!

It measures around 7 inches in circumference. The center black stone is 1-5/8ths by 1 inch wide. The widest point of the two side sections are 1 and a half inches. It weighs a substantial 98.8 grams. It is in perfect condition with no excessive wear, scratching, and no damage to the silver or stones.

If you're looking for vintage and antique Native American and Mexican jewelry, look no further! We've got plenty more in our Etsy shop and we are trying to list as much as time permits weekly.
