Nickel plating

A set of two magnetic barbells come in one order (one for each nipple). Each barbell consists of a set of strong, high-quality magnets. Great for photos, videos, or to see how a real piercing would look!

These are not recommended for male nipples, or extra small/inverted nipples.

Picture #4 displays the high strength magnets (note the size difference of the disc magnets vs. picture #3, they are slightly more visible).
⭐The high strength magnets are very strong and should only be used for those who find a strong hold desirable.⭐

The balls and discs are about 5mm in diameter. They are nickel plated. Not for use in/around the mouth. The silver & gold colors refer to the color only, and if you are allergic to nickel you will still be allergic to these colors.

⭐The "Mixed colors (*)" option is for customers that don't want all of the balls to be the same. For example, if you wanted 2 balls to be black and 2 balls to be purple, instead of all 4 balls being purple. If you choose this option, please write the colors you'd like in the order note box. Each set has four balls total, so you can choose up to four different colors.

Do not put them near your mouth or another person's mouth
Do NOT allow children to handle them
Swallowed magnets require immediate medical attention
Skin can get severely pinched between attracting magnets; care must be taken to avoid person injury

I made the high strength set available for people with larger nipples OR those who desire a very strong hold. Average nipple size (not areola) is around 1cm in diameter. It also greatly depends on your personal sensitivity! If you tend to be more sensitive, the high strength set will likely become uncomfortable after a while. On the other hand, some people who are much less sensitive prefer the strong feeling of the high strength set.
If these aren't placed in the right spot, you may notice that they sort of fold outward at an angle, instead of attracting straight together, which can make them pop off. When this happens, you may need to adjust their position to be closer to *OR* further away from the areola. Try looking in the mirror as well, to make sure you're getting them centered. Check the photo in my About section for reference.

The best placement is: not too far 'up' towards the ceiling, not too far 'down' towards the floor. A tiny bit away from the areola, towards the end of the actual nipple. Basically in the very middle, where a piercing would go.

Then just hold them in place or push them together. It is easiest right after a shower (dry of course).
**For more detailed instructions, read the "About" section of my shop, as Etsy limits the amount of space I have to type here**

Notice which side of the disc magnet the stud attracts to properly. Then, I find it is easiest to place the disc on your thumb, and then place it just barely inside your nostril. It should be placed in the crease between your nose & nostril, as this is where a real piercing goes. It's a good idea to put this on at home, and away from a bathroom sink or somewhere it could be permanently lost. See the photos in my About section for reference!
The "crystal" color is a regular clear rhinestone, and "crystal AB" is a clear rhinestone with a sort of clear-pink-rainbow coating on it. You can also do a google image search for "crystal AB" to get an idea of what it looks like.
You only need a little bit of skin between the magnets (about 5 or 6mm). If there's too much skin between them, or if they're at the wrong angle, it will make them sort of fold onto each other and snap together.

To help keep that from happening, push the bottom half of the barbell into your belly button with the ball going further in toward your back, and the disc coming out toward your hand (it kind of seems like the opposite of what you'd want to do).

Then place the top half of the barbell about 5-6mm above that. If the top half of the barbell is placed too far back, there will be too much skin between the disc magnets. It might be easier if you're standing to do this.
The stud is a magnet, so either piece will stick to the very first metal thing they come in contact with. First, look on ANYTHING metal nearby where it was lost. I've found magnets I dropped stuck to metal chair legs, my makeup case, my bed frame, even the bottom of my computer.

To look on floors & carpet, just use a large piece of steel (make sure it's not something non-magnetic like aluminum). I usually just use my pair of stainless steel scissors because they're pretty large. With the steel flat touching the floor, sweep it all across the floor near where the piece fell. It will pick it right up! You may want to look in a much larger area of the room than you think, because tiny things like this can bounce surprisingly far.
