The item looked great, but would not attach to my car. Was not magnetic enough to stay on car, it just fell off no matter where I tried to place it.

I'm sorry to hear that the magnet isn't properly adhering to your vehicle. Some car parts, especially bumpers, can be made of composite non-magnetic materials. Have you tested your magnet on your fridge or on a different location on your car? If the magnet does not adhere to any other surfaces please let me know. Thank you!
