Westward Ho! For your consideration is a fun western-inspired brooch featuring wagon wheels and carved celluloid logs. They are hanging from a celluloid chain that dangles from a larger log. The pin is on the back of that large log.
LAST photo shows the back of the brooch. I did not find any signatures or markings on this piece.
MEASUREMENTS (Approx.):
Pendant = 2 in./ 5 cm WIDE
Chain = 18 in./ 46 cm. LONG
CONDITION:
- It seems to be missing a log that might have been near the wagon wheel on the top right.
- Some verdigris/tarnishing around the base of the pin.
- See ALL PHOTOS for details.
I *have not* attempted to clean this. Because I know that some people like to see the "age" of a piece, I'd rather leave that decision up to the new owner.
