I found a much more secure way of attaching the coin. I attached to the back, a solid sterling silver coin with a loop. I feel it's much nicer when you can avoid drilling the coin.

Listed here is a lovely copper patina-ted 10 Centesimi Italian Bee 22.mm coin (lightly polished to bring out the highlights). Minted in Rome this coin pre-war dates will vary (1922-1934). Engraver - Attilio Silvio Motti. Comes with or without a chain.

I choose each coin based on quality and tarnish (tarnished is best) Then I lightly buff it. Please be aware that old coins are like people, they have their own personality and each one may look slightly different from the pictures.
