Description

This is a life size, handmade, pirate skeleton prop. It is a one of a kind piece! You won't see another like it anywhere. I love doing these and put a lot of time into every detail. From head to toe I create these figures largely from raw materials.

Durable fiberglass and resin - posed and durable.

Custom orders and many options available. Sitting, standing, indoor/outdoor, etc. See my policies for more details.

IMPORTANT!!! Read my policies where I discuss payment, shipping, options, and time needed per order. Then contact me with questions.

* Rush orders are subject to additional costs (less than a week per pirate).

* Price is flexible - there are many options that will raise or lower the price.

* Communicate with me. I will be happy to answer questions before you order and want to make you happy with your order.

Additional policies

Posing Figures
The skeletal figures are flaccid by default, meaning they are poseable but they can not hold a pose.

Keep in mind I am flexible. If, for example, you want one hand poseable and not both I will charge you half the fee since I am only making one hand poseable.

Pose Options:

Flaccid
Major joints are moveable (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees.)
Fingers are NOT poseable.
Figure does NOT hold a pose.
Will need to be propped up or rested on something to stay in place.
Head looks left and right but not up and down.
(add $0)

Rigid pose, a sculpture
Nothing can move or is poseable.
The load bearing part of the figure (feet and legs if standing or bottom if seated, etc.) is mounted to a base to hold it upright.
All joints are locked in place.
May be partially disassembled to cut shipping costs depending on pose.
Includes a basic, simple, functional base painted black
(add $125)

Standing
Mounted to base
Knees and waist will be rigid to keep the figure upright.
Includes a basic, simple, functional base painted black
(add $50)

Fingers on Both Hands
Generally I pose the hand around an object like a weapon, prop, or pose it in a rigid natural position. Poseable fingers joints require a lot of work. I drill out and cement each finger bone to a thin armature wire and each finger bone is sanded and stained.
Poseable fingers are NOT meant to be posed repeatedly or the wires break. I will make repairs to hands for the cost of shipping (as I will for most everything else) and am looking for an answer to this problem.
(add $50)

Add:
Stand Ready
Generally used on Flaccid or poseable figures to hold them upright.
The figure will have a mounting for a stand at the base of the spine.
Mounting will be a right angle bracket so you can screw it to something.
Stand NOT included.
(add $25)

Deluxe Base
A deluxe base is a little larger than a regular base and can be made to look like a part of the deck, covered in sand, or gold pieces.
(add $50)
