Description

Here is a wonderful piece of Alumina pottery by Nils Thorsson just waiting to join your Royal Copenhagen collection. Straddling the Art Deco and Modern periods, this rich chocolate brown vase with incised figure of a guinea fowl among the rushes would go well with many decorating styles.

Originally designed in 1935, the bottom of this Aluminia Solbjerg Vase by Nils Thorsson dates its production to 1950 (The “u” above the E in Denmark on the bottom). A very popular and collectible piece of pottery.

In very good vintage condition, this piece shows expected signs of age such as a very few minor scuff marks on the surface and crazing on the bottom (doesn’t show when vase is upright). No chips, cracks or repairs. Rim is in excellent shape. Overall, a wonderful, rare piece for display.

Approximately 9 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep.

Shipping policies

DOMESTIC - Etsy's shipping caluclator defaults to the least expensive option. Upgrades are available, where applicable. I prefer USPS Priority mail or Flat Rate (which is often the least expensive) as these options provide tracking and some insurance.

INTERNATIONAL – Is via USPS 1st Class International. Any customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I can not declare your purchase as a "gift."

Packaging: I used recycled boxes and bubble wrap when possible - all clean, of course!
