Description

These are vintage US Military Air Force Goggles Sunglasses from World War Two. They have what I believe to be the original box. The box says American Spectacle Goggle and American Optical Company. The etching on the lenses looks like an S with an O around it and an M.
They are in wonderful vintage condition. I don't see any scratches on the lenses. The leather is in good shape too. I bought these from the estate of a WWII Veteran in the Kansas City area. I also acquired his dog tags and Leather Bomber pilot shearling coat. They are amazing. The side shields are leather. Some of the metal is discolored.
The box reads:
3080
72 P.D
1.25 Curve S.A.P.
Medium Calobar

Bausch and Lomb may have bought this company.
