I made the coaster basket for some existing coasters I had. I had to adjust it a bit as my coasters were bigger than 4x4. I'm glad that I was able to find a pattern out there like this!!! A +++++

I just made 2 of these for my daughters teacher and her teacher's aid! I would have loved for them to be a wee bit bigger but they're perfect for their desk to store pens,notepads,small scissors,tape.. etc. I think this would also be great to make a strap on top and put a button to keep it closed and ther u have a redi-made lil purse!! loved this was super easy to make and rather quick! Thanks for a great easy pattern!!

I am a very experienced sewer and this pattern was exactly what I was looking for. I made 7 of these over the course of three evenings. It’s a great way to personalize a very practical item - the recipients LOVED them. If you’ve ever made a reversible tote bag, you’ll have NO problem with this. However, I did find that the pictures were quite hard to follow because of the fabric used in the tutorial. Againn, no problem if you have some experience but I imagine it could be frustrating for beginners.
