A rare English Bilston wine funnel enamelled and painted with flowers, vines and bird. These rare funnels do occasionally appear for sale. All of the examples that we have seen have had flaws with most having corrosion to the end of the stem. This example is very similar in condition. It has hairline cracks inside and outside as well as one or two very minor chips. It is also possible that there has been a minor repair to the end of the stem. However, for its age and type, it is complete and considered to be of good condition.
A very desirable wine collectors item. Length 4 inches.
