This is a copy of a vintage pattern. I did not design this pattern nor did I create or edit it. I have not knit this item myself. I provide scanned vintage patterns at an economical price in their original form. You are purchasing a pattern period, you are not purchasing support or advice for working the pattern. The patterns have NOT been updated to reflect current yarns or current terminology, there are no step-by-step photos. I am not a yarn shop. Please note the following:
- this pattern is in English only. I do not offer translation services.
- be aware that the font size of many old printed patterns is tiny.
- if a tension is not provided in the pattern, I will state that right in the listing. I do not provide advice about what the tension should be if it is not provided.
- if a tension is provided in the pattern, I include that in the listing;
- I recognize that many of the yarns are no longer available - that is the nature of vintage patterns - I do NOT provide advice on substitute yarns. There are a variety of internet sources that provide substitute yarn recommendations based on tension;
- I do not provide knitting advice;
- Queen Bee knitting needles are UK sized;
- vintage Aran patterns generally do NOT include charts;
- sizing has changed over the years - 1940's size 14 is not the same as 2020's size 14 - if final dimensions are not provided in the listing, then dimensions are NOT included in the pattern.
