This little ballerina stands just under 4" tall. Her black (merino wool) hair is needlefelted into a cute little bun and adorned with silk ribbon bows. She has a sparkly pink tulle tutu.

Charming in a dollhouse; a nice gift for anyone who loves ballet

About my little dolls....
Felt Friends are very posable because of their wire skeletons wrapped in cotton floss. They do not stand alone, but they prop beautifully. (I use stainless steel and cotton pipecleaners made in the USA. They are sturdy and lead free.)

Doll is entirely hand sewn. Clothing is 100% wool felt unless otherwise specified. (I do sometimes accent with cotton cloth or tulle netting, and this will show in the photos and usually in the description as well if those materials are used.)

Clothing is sewn in place and is non removable. Head is 100% cotton broadcloth firmly stuffed and sewn to body. Face is carefully hand drawn with prismacolor pencil; sometimes accented with AP non toxic acrylic paint. Hair is soft wool roving sewn in place.

Some of the techniques used in creating my "Felt Friends" dolls were inspired by the delightful and comprehensive book "Felt Wee Folk: Enchanting Projects" by Salley Mavor.
