I bought this item as a gift so I only heard selections from it, but my recipient absolutely LOVES IT!!! And from selections I heard on another website, it is very lovely music. If you like folk-type music you will enjoy it and if you saw the HBO special on Edith Lake Wilkinson, from which this music came, you will especially enjoy it.

The opening song is the best example that shows her great progression from her early works; the layering, the instrumentation, the harmonies, and the lyrics reflect a grown up Danielle and I hope her fans allows her to spread her wings more and explore new territories in other music genres as I feel that her strongest instrument, her voice, will anchor such explorations, and hopefully, will grow and enrich her talents. BTW: both albums I ordered arrived before the stated arrival date.
