Description

"Wonderful Peace" was written by Warren Cornell and the music was composed by William Cooper. This is a hymn art printable that I created using the 5 verse version of this much loved hymn. The hymn in the background is "Standing on the Promises of God", and I used an olive tree in the artwork. This is meant to be a piece of art, so while you can clearly see most of the sheet music, the tree does cover portions of it.

I had to recreate this hymn, note by note, tie by tie, dot by dot, and it was a painstaking 8 hours of work. I never knew this hymn had so many notes in so many different directions, lol. But, alas, it is finished. I print all of my artwork on Epson Premium Presentation Paper (Matte). I use an inkjet printer. After letting it dry, I seal it with Mod-Podge Matte, which really adds to the depth and richness of the already vibrant colors. I love love love this art. It will print on 8.5x11 paper but frames up nicely in an 8x10 frame (as shown in this post).

"One day while seated in the tent, Mr. Cornell, following a period of deep introspection, wrote down the thoughts with which his mind had been busied. They later proved to be parts of this hymn, Wonderful Peace. Sinking again into introspective rumination, he arose, unwittingly dropped the written verses on the tent floor and went out. When Mr. Cooper entered the tent an hour or two later he discovered the paper. He was fascinated by the theme and the accompanying verses. It so fitted his own thinking that he filled in and completed the poem. Then sitting down at the organ he composed the melody as it has since been sung. -- (sourced from hymntime)

This 300 dpi file will print on an 8.5x11 but will format nicely in an 8x10 frame. The original image is done at 11x14, so if you need a larger scope, I can oblige. Just convo me.
