Description

THESE ARE CURRENTLY 75% OFF TO QUICKLY MOVE MY OVERSTOCK - DON'T MISS OUT! NOTE - SORRY, I'M OUT OF THE "LITTLE DECAY" QUALITY OPTION. PRICES SHOWN ARE ALREADY MARKED DOWN!

This listing is for ONE small corked glass jar for storage/viewing like pictured here but you pick the quantity and quality of teeth you want. Your collection of human teeth will have the amount of teeth and the condition you choose using the drop down menu at the time of purchase. Teeth in photos are only examples.

LAST PHOTO SHOWS BLUE/GREEN TEETH - They have been stained/sanitized by a dentist. They WILL NOT ever be white again. Normally this listing is just for white teeth. If you want these blue/green ones you must request them at checkout thanks!

The teeth you will receive will depend on what I have in stock. You will likely get a mix of molars, pre-molars and incisors.

I get a lot of requests for specific teeth. I do not have a dental background. I do not know the terminology and would not be able to pick out a specific type of tooth for you, especially not if you gave me the tooth number. I also do not always have every kind of tooth in stock. The teeth in this listing are picked at random by condition you want based on what I have I stock. Not by what kind of teeth. Thanks for understanding!

My Tooth Fairy line of jewelry uses real legally acquired human teeth from dentists. Some have a porcelain coating added by a dentist. These are real used teeth. Rarely a perfect healthy tooth is pulled. So they all have some kind of decay, staining, filling, cavity, drill hole, etc. All teeth have been cleaned and sanitized.

Very happy I purchased these. Wish I had gotten more. The cute little glass bottle is perfect for them as well.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED:

How do I care for your bone & taxidermy jewelry/art?

Most of my jewelry pieces are not meant to take heavy wear. They should not get wet or even be in high humidity areas. Do not clean or polish it as it can destroy it. Taxidermy art must be kept out of water, high humidity & direct sunlight. Do not let them bang on hard surface or you chance cracking glass, bone and teeth or breaking them free of their settings.

How can you make sure that something that is naturally preserved is really clean?

My pieces like that are in most cases professionally preserved. Meaning chemical preservatives were used to sanitize and preserve them to make them last. Sometimes they are inside a case instead of just free hanging if they were only naturally preserved. Meaning found dried by nature. There are little health concerns about any of my pieces by at the same time they are not mean to be worn by children, or let animals chew on them. Never put my pieces in your mouth.

What do you mean when you say you’re an ethical bone artist?

http://bone-lust.blogspot.com/2013/05/bonelust-q-what-do-you-mean-when-you.html

Who is your animal bone supplier?

http://bone-lust.blogspot.com/2013/04/bonelust-bone-art-shop-q-who-is-your.html

What's your metal made of?

Most of my metal findings and chains used in my jewelry pieces are a raw brass based nickel free and lead free metal. Which are silver and brass plated. If I have options to choose from it will state so in the listing. When something is sterling silver, it will say so in the listing.

HUMAN TEETH INFO:

”Where do you get your human teeth?"
"How can they be legal for you to have?"
"Are they black market sourced?"
"Aren't they unsanitary?"
"Can I buy them from you?"
"Will you buy my teeth?"

I get a ton of questions about my human teeth so I'm just going to try to answer them all at once. First off, just consider me the tooth fairy. I'm always looking for human teeth. Flea markets, antique shops, etc. It is a hard & pricy supply to locate.

The human teeth I get are mostly pulled molars and family heirlooms from right here in the US. No chance of them being acquired through sketchy black market organ harvesting sources. Or prisons. I hear all kinds of ridiculous theories. But the truth is, they were all legally pulled from a live person by a dental professional. Or naturally fell out in the case of baby teeth. These teeth are completely legal for me to have and sell.

I sanitize them just like all of the animal bone/teeth used in my pieces. So they are totally safe to handle/wear. I sometimes will give shop credit for customer supplied teeth.

Yes, you can buy teeth collections in my shop.

I do offer custom jewelry pieces using your supplied teeth. Listings are already in my shop. My many real human teeth art & jewelry pieces can already be found for sale at Bonelust.Etsy.Com
