This exquisite finely detailed Luckenbooth is superbly made. This medium sized open work Luckenbooth design features a stylized "M" in the center to represent Mary Queen of Scots. In addition to the stylized "M" this Luckenbooth includes a central heart and is topped with a royal crown - the "Heart & Crown of Scotland" and was romantically linked to the tragic Mary Queen of Scots as it was the brooch design she had given to Lord Darnley thus the central "M". These came to be called "Mary Brooches" or "Queen Mary Brooches."

This design is available in your choice of 10K or 14K yellow gold. This Queen Mary "M" medium Luckenbooth measures is 28mm (1-1/16") long by 19mm (3/4") wide with a secure pin back.
