Description

8x10 high-quality Science Prints made from original vintage glass slides.

What a unique conversation piece!

Every image originates directly from a unique and very real bacterium captured on a glass slide from the 1970s. When purchasing, you can customize your print by deciding if you would like to include the vintage text.

Here’s a little more about the history and science behind the art…

My grandfather was a Microbiologist in New York in the 1970s. He had a set of glass slides he used to identify and verify disease cultures that came in to him at the lab. I was able to save the original slides from being destroyed and scanned and digitized them to create brilliant abstract renderings of the vintage organic designs.

The 8x10 prints are on Premium high-resolution semi-glossy paper. During checkout you will be given the option to purchase your 8x10 print with an 11x14 beveled black matte, or black matte and 11x14 Blick Art Natural Wood frame.
