Vintage Silk Kimono fabrics are hand woven, hand painted, hand dyed. I have found that they are the most beautiful fabrics you can possibly use in creating wearable art.

This piece is made using a gorgeous silk kimono fabric woven and dyed with loads of elegant cherry blossoms and fan motifs in a stunning rose background. The cherry blossom motif is very impressive, with yuzen technique paint added in gold detail.
It is finished with a beautiful black, light weight with high sheen , 4 inch flapper type fringe for an exotic finish. The one in the photo is sold. I have another piece of this fabric for a custom order. I can hem only if fringe is not desired....Please see the matching purse listing.
The wrap is appx. 14.5 in. by appx. 75 to 83 in. long plus the additional fringe length on each end if fringe is desired.
What a beautiful bridal fashion statement this would make. It can be used as a sash for your dress. I can also make a matching clutch to your specifications.......These would be one of a kind since it is taken from an unused vintage kimono and so pieces are very limited...This would actually be the last one..
